@emdiggy said: That's a good question... I'm guessing 7 but not sure. I know the Hurricanes had a year where like 3-4 went I think Found this on Wiki: The Hurricanes hold the record for most players selected in the first round in a single draft (6, in 2004), most first-round draft picks in a two-year period (11, from 2003 to 2004), most first-round draft picks in a three-year period (15, from 2002 through 2004), and most first-round picks in a four-year period (19, from 2001 through 2004).So, it is 6. How many Buckeyes do you think will be taken in round 1? Another question: If a player played at one school for some time, then transferred to another......do both schools get to claim him for their draft pick total? Examples: Russell Wilson spent time at both Wisconsin and NC St. Vince Ferragamo spent time at both UCLA and Nebraska Troy Aikman spent time at Oklahoma and UCLA This comes into play with Noah Spence. If he gets taken in round 1....will OSU get credit for him even though he had to transfer and go to E Ky. or somewhere?

I don't think Goldman & Williams arent 'that' good….which is why I graded them low. Goldman is more of a rotational guy & Williams isn't athletic and doesn't have an interest in blocking…which means, he's situational. Also, I think you have to look at your own roster and understand that there's some talent on the depth chart that IMO can do just fine…I.E. Keith Pough.

Farmer has said publically again and again and again that he will draft OL and DL in the first round. Given our results this past year, we need both DL and OL help. WR is nothing but a shiny hood ornament who barely touches the ball.

I've been all over the road scouting college prospects and it has limited the amount of previews I've been able to get out --> http://footballgameplan.com/feat/hunts-scouting-notes/ Heck Friday & Saturday I'll be in Boston (FXFL game) West Point (Air Force vs Army) and Staten Island (Wagner vs Sacred Heart)

Zombo said: Yes. Our starting DEs are currently 310 and 330. Not sure why you are struggling the concept of 300+ NFL 3-4 DEs. Z Mainly because there are few 300lb 3tech 34 ends in the league right now. Do some looking, 290 is about tops for many of them. Especially the good ones. Plus one of the biggest things that jumps off tape about Leonard is his explosiveness. Putting on weight to an already 290lb frame would severely limit that. edit: Went looking for myself. sub 300 JJ Watt. 289 Cameron Heyward 288 Justin Smith 285 Cameron Jordan 287 Donte Jones 285 Darnell Docket 290 Antonio Smith 289 Billy Winn 295 - obviously he was far more effective around his natural 280 Vinny Curry 279 Ray McDonald 290 Sheldon Richardson 290 300+ Stephen Bowen 310 : Mike Devito 305 Clifton Geathers 340 Desmond Bryant i Fletcher Cox 300lbs. John Hughes is 310 Akiem Hicks 310 Muhammed Wilkerson 315 So I see in group 1 a great set of versatile players against both the run and the pass, including the best defensive player in the NFL. In group 2 I see some good players. Mainly run stuffers in Hicks, Wilkerson, Hughes, Geathers and Devito. Exceptions being Cox and Bryant.

I'm leaning toward insane @emdiggy said: http://footballgameplan.com/2014-nfl-draft-big-board-rankings/ Good morning Browns fans! Here's my '14 NFL Draft Big Board rankings Enjoy! Em I enjoy this. I think that you are going to see a lot of people from here and from other team boards saying that you have no idea what your doing, but lets be honest, not every teams board is representative of what we see in the media. I'm sure most teams boards look a lot like yours, where they have alot of people that the media thinks is 3/4 round talent with 1st round grades and several guys who have 1st round grades in the media setting there with mid to late round grades. The reason we normally see selections come out along what we see in the medias big board is because every teams big board is different. There ARE teams out there that have Bortles as a third round pick, while I am also sure that there are still teams out there that have Bridgewater as the #1 overall play in the draft. But at the same time I am also just as certain that there are teams that have those players reversed. Or teams who don't have a first round grade on ANY QB. Its going to be different team by team and I think emdiggy's big board is representative of this.
